I love the way this looks with this hulking great Voigtlander on the front. Of course this is not why I bought it...ahem. I was fortunate that I had a chrome UV filter which adds somehow to the appearance as well. Best of all its really quite a good lens and a lot of fun to use with that miniscule DOF.

Oh! Oh! I have been trying to figure out if the TLA200 works with the M8 and M9!!! Can you describe your experiences?

sorry, minimal practice as I only lent this flash for some hours. I had to use manual mode or the flash auto itself. This works ok but I didn't keep any of the pics I made :-( . These were only testshots and now I'm looking to find a TLA200 for myself.

So your chrome M8 looks beaten really?Indeed, I was referring to the M8.

Not beaten, but those parts of the body that get in contact with fingers (and thus with grease and sweat) most often look a little "dirty", i.e. not as shiny anymore as they did when it was new. And I think this doesn't look as nice as brassing

Don't you use filters? Or did you remove them so that we can see the lens better

My M8 and Luigi case. Removed the IR filter for the picture to get rid of the reddish reflection.

Just fine that you have picked my thread up again. Some very elegant ways of showing your gears, guys! Excellent photography. Very good! I have sold my M8, and have bought a M9. I just might show it off here one day.
