TX was my first SLR to. Bought it in Okinawa in 1976 and traded to for an EF. NO longer have the EF either. My first "real" camera, bought brand new 41 years ago this weekend:

Needs a good CLA, but otherwise she's great.
Best,

But I still have these and they all work perfectly.

How do you find the Handling with this combo? I was thinking about getting the 50 1.2 for my own FM3A.

Abram, the 50/1.2 and 58/1.2 are pretty big and heavy on the compact FM3A but manageable if you must.
What I find much more an issue then the size and weight of the lens is that the little FM3A finder is ok to focus the fast f1.2 lenses but the finder of a (cheap as dirt) Nikon F3 is so much better and easy on the eye (especially when using the high magnification finder and a full matte screen as the H2 screen).
This is why I barely ever use the fast lenses on my FM3A but if I can use the F3 instead.
I find lightweight and small lenses most wonderful on the FM3A - the perfect pairing.
My favorite lens on the FM3A is the 50/2.8 AiS - perfect handling (and a very sharp and contrasty lens to boot).
… not saying the fast glass can't be used on the FM3A ;-)

Thanks Dirk! I'm not super keen on buying one or anything but I've been interested in one off and on. I primarily will use the 45mm f2.8P as it's just so sweet handling on that camera, but I also will be using the 28 f/2.8 AIS.
I don't have any fast glass for any system these days so focusing is pretty easy for me right now haha!

I don't have a film Nikon at the moment, so the digital brick will have to serve.

Some beautiful kits posted in this thread for sure
My meager collection:
What started it all. I actually saved up paper route money to buy this new in the late 70s IIRC.

Next, I bought this FE2 with a 50mm on a facebook group in August 2015

April 2017 I grabbed this nice F3/T on Etsy of all places

The FE2 and F3 share a 28mm f2.8, 50mm f1.8 and a Voigtlander 40mm f2

Here is the SLR that I am sharing. A Kiev88 with a Vega 12b, a 90mm f/2.8 lens. It has been rather interesting figuring out how to use it.

I've been shooting my OM-1 a lot lately. I always wonder why Olympus stuff isn't more popular, its cheap and just as much fun as a Leica.
