Show us your SLR ..... WHAT?

Nice find, Greg. The T70 is and interesting little camera, rather under rated due to it's rather lacking aesthetics. It's a good one to stick a cheap 50/1.8 on stuff in the glove compartment :)

To my great surprise (as an AE shooter), I am enjoying the FM2N more than the FE2, but enjoying BOTH a lot more after installing a B3 focusing screen. Now the image just SNAPS INTO FOCUS. That's a 28-50/3.5 on the FE2 and an AI'd 35/2.0 Nikkor-O on the FM2N.

Very nice Keith. Do you have to use any exposure compensation for the B3 screen as opposed to B2?

Thanks

Al

Arrived in the mail today, this was the last camera I bought, along with a black FT3, before Christmas, to complete my collection. All hail the mighty FTb! This was the camera model (in chrome) that was stolen from my wife while riding in the tube in London, about 23 years ago. It's satisfying to resolve outstanding issues.

For the new FTb(n) I'd like to find a slip-on +1.5 diopter lens made by Canon for this model. The viewfinder elements are much clearer when viewed through the reading portion of my bi-focal eyeglasses.

hey, did you grab that out of my camera cabinet??

oh, wait - mine still has the sync socket cap, and yours doesn't have all that mud in the focusing ring......

neat to see someone else shooting the 'lowly' 50/1.8 AF-D on a manual focus camera tho. i actually leave a 50/1.2 AIS at home in all but the faintest light, 'cuz that little plastic thing beats it in size, weight, AND performance.

My Fm2n unfortunately does not get that much use, its shutter sounds like opening the cash register, if you know what I mean.

The lowly 50/1.8 AF-D is my secret weapon.

Konica T3N. It's a great camera with a nice solid feel that can double as a weapon. :D

Lens with it:
50/1.4
135/3.2
300/4.5
85-200/3.5
and still growing. :)

I know EXACTLY what you mean on the sound, nice way to describe it! Had it at the family's home on christmas morning, my sister heard it and said "That's not the camera you're using at my wedding, is it?"

She's getting married in June, and has asked me to both usher and get some shots to add to the paid photographer's work. My CL is quite, but glass is a bit on the low/short side (40/2), but in Nikon I've got the 105/1.8 and fast 50's. Decisions, decisions..... as long as I don't show up with the Pentax 67II! Instead of a cash drawer, we'd hear someone falling down a flight of stairs!

Get yourself a heavily used, cheap F3 with MD-4, stick a fast 50 on it, load it with Eneloops, set it on continuos drive for focus bracketing and enter her wedding.

The camera surely will survive the stairs :D
