Picked up this baby locally for a nice deal! Seems like the aperture blades are sticky on the 38mm lens though. Any advice on cleaning them?

Ultra rare piece. Would love to see some samples taken with the 38mm FL-P.

I think that Pellix has a stationary mirror and was the very first camera of that design.

Interestingly Sony uses pellicle mirror tech for its lower-end DSLR cameras, which they dub SLT. This is used in conjunction with their EVF system.
It gives you a WYSIWYG view, but a downside is that if you're using a manual flash, you're seeing the pre-flash results in the viewfinder and sometimes you can't see well enough to frame the shot. It's running in stopped down mode ALL THE TIME.

You may want to read up into recent Sony cameras. The top-of-the-line A99 and A77 also use this technology.Interestingly Sony uses pellicle mirror tech for its lower-end DSLR cameras, which they dub SLT. This is used in conjunction with their EVF system.
You can easily overcome the problem you have with the dark viewfinder by going into your menu settings and set "Live View Display" to off (at least with recent cameras). Do you mean those older S/H lenses? Never owned any of those.
The chrome w/ the 50/1.4 was my dad's old set-up which is now really a shelf queen that sits next to my beater black F2. I still run a roll in it every once in awhile to make sure it still works, but the 50/1.4 has some haze in it so I dont use it anymore.

When outside is underwater, what else should a person do but take photographs of cameras...
