A brace of F1Ns
A brace of F1Ns
It took me a long time to settle on these. Have had a TLb, AE1, AE1P, old F1, a couple of A1s... but I really like these F1Ns. A bit heavier than I'd like perhaps, but solid, dependable and rugged.
I also have some Nikon AF SLRs (F801s and F90X) which I bought from new back in the 1980s/90s. These, too, are fantastic cameras, but I prefer the manual focus vibe of these old tank-like Canons.

Thank you, Mute-on. These are indeed extremely capable cameras and I always get a tinge of excitement at the prospect of using them.
Have a great Christmas!

My latest minolta addition. Was pretty dirty and had a dead cap when i got it.
I just got one of these too for a £5. It seems to be in good cosmetic condition and working order.

Nikon F100/Pentax Spotmatic F watching each other's backs.
Love the handling of the F100 and the image quality of the Takumar 55/1.8. Pity I can't have both in one camera!
(Shot with Sigma DP3M at ISO 3200/blue channel; should've focused a bit deeper . . .)

The F100 has got to be the bargain of the photo world nowadays. €70-100 gets you a mint, little used example with a bit of searching.
I've just re added one to my Nikon selection for holiday and boat use.
