Show us your stuff !!

Shot yesterday - Olympus 35 RD that I found last week in a junk shop, paid $20 for it. Intended to sell it, but fell in love after cleaning it, refoaming, and shooting the mandatory test-roll. Best find I've made since meeting my wife, who coincidentally is the beauty in this image:

You asked for our favorites, those taken with any camera not just the rangefinders we love. This one was take recently but has become one of my all-time favorites. It tells a story in itself, and it is one that is taken just in time. Enjoy!

I am new here, so this was an intersting topic to check out .... came across your foto, reall fantastic picture..... must of been what Billy Idol looked like at the age of 6 or so ... 🙂

Very nice shot, very particular shot I bet very little people get the chance to shoot something like this

: great "facourites", everybody.
Anders, that ant is fantastic!
Also Richard's shot of the two kids is something to be proud of.

I agree w Stuart - a new 'best photo' every day would be the way to go.

Hey Hither - i recognize that shot🙂 err, the lady, in fact! She's very popupar on the PN classic cameras forum 😀

This one is difficult for me as I only recently got my first RF which was followed very quickly by addiction. These are 2 SLR shots (I hope no-one minds) which I've continued to enjoy, one was a model shoot and the other a "street" capture at a otter sanctuary.

EDIT: If anyone does object to these not being RF shots, let me know and I'll be happy to delete them 😉

That's a great photo but the "Eating is Believing" logo is rendered horribly and is completely distracting.

Wow, I love that lightning strike shot! 🙂 Good one! 🙂

Thank You. I shot a series of shots as this storm approached. After this shot I began to question my sanity regarding standing in an open field with a metal tripod, I decided to pack up while I was still alive and had not yet wet my pants.

This is possibly my favorite picture in terms of subtlety. I'm not sure the scanned version is as effective as the wet-print version but here it is. This was taken on a back street in Wetzlar, Germany, in the Winter of '71 - '72. The film was Tri-X exposed at 400 and developed in D-76. The camera was a Leica IIIf and the lens was most likely my Summitar 50mm. The image has been cropped from the full negative.

One of mine favorite shots

Here is one of my favorite shots, taken about 1 year ago.
Contax G2, 21mm Biogon with X0 filter, Ilford XP-2, exposed after 200 iso.

Nice one Frank. Love the look on the face of the elderly gentleman in the back.

Wayne,

One memory is sublime, the other is crass. Can you guess which is which?

(I do appreciate the humour, though.)
