You finally have a Leica! Looks good!
Erik.
Hi Erik,
I bought it back in 2009 but i didn't use it much as it quickly developed pinholes on the shutter blinds. I keep postponing the repair of it since.
Some pictures i posted in this thread here:https://rangefinderforum.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2309823&postcount=47

If the holes are small, just close them with a very tiny little bit of first quality undiluted artists oil paint (Windsor & Newton for instance), color Ivory Black. Let dry for a month. Oil paint is linseed oil, dries slowly, but is eternal, just like this pigment. Only close the holes, do not smear the paint over the whole curtain.
Nice pictures!
Erik.

Thanks Erik,
Are you referring to something like that:

Yes! exactly that! Good luck! Open the tube and remove the layer of oil on top with a tissue. Use thick paint, not just oil. Linseed oil is a drying oil, the base of oil painting.

Finally I got rid of the perforitis by removing the top disk of the film take-up spool. Now the spool goes in deeper and the film is lifted up just a few more macrometers.

I had a look at this one big on Flickr and it's amazing the detail you've captured in the eagle and its nest! Impressive shot

Thank you! My wife was using a giant 150-600 for the eagle, so shooting it with a 50 felt a little odd, but we do what we can with what we’ve got right? Lol. I’m always amazed at what this lens is capable of. By far my smallest 50, but renders just the right contrast to really work a negative or RAW file in post or darkroom.
