Show your photos from a vintage folder

Gawd, love these things, even though I must divest my folders due to no longer being able to handle chems...skin condition recurring...nothing like these pics and the above from old Bessa I is spectacular...occupies one for quite the while.

Thanks.

Light Leak

Light Leak

It's a light leak but haven't figured out from where.

I was sharing to show how much more contrasty the Ikonta is over the Leotax. And a bit more sharp. If I could get the Ikonta fixed it would definitely be my go to color film camera for 120. I have XP2 loaded in the Leotax today.

Bellows? Am sure you have checked, so maybe edge of door...

Edges at folds? Maybe slight crack shows up only when bellows is extended?

Tough testing for light leak, but would be more than worth it to fix, IMHO.

Opton lens?

I happen to have a 6x9 Ikonta Mess I used to use for BW infinity shots.

Cannot use now cuz chemicals give me skin rash, so was going to sell it...Really too nice to sell too nice to let alone.

Again, IMHO, worth fixing.

I went out on 'Expired Film Day' March 15th with my 1956 Agfa Isolette III with 75mm f3.5 Solinar loaded with 1998 dated Ilford HP5 that had been in camera since December 2016, so I finished it up as it was sunny ! I rated film at 250 ASA and processed in my 'home-made' Microphen 1+1 for 11.5 mins @ 20oC and got some good negs!

These are also lovely. One is amazing...btw. Me have never paid much attention to exp dates...only how stored. I have film that is over 50 years old and it does the job as well as in its day. FWIW. Have freezer full of sealed up TX and Ilford BW film...

Golly. I should send you my 6x9 Ikonta for a comparison shot. That Bessa does it...sadly I sold my Bessa and should send this...
