Show Your Scale Focus Beauties!

Thanks, I had already found your report on your restoration of the Mercury. It was a great help in opening it up and cleaning out the globs of grease and film chips.

Haven't taken off or re-glued the leather yet. I have Bison Kit for this, it remains somewhat rubbery once dry.

Good to hear I was a help, Rick. Mine is unfortunately sounding like it's about to come apart again. That catch lever may be working it's way out of it's mounting hole. I'll have to run another roll of film through it to see if it's still functioning okay.

I just had the 35S CLA'd by Krikor Maralian so I decided to snap a family portrait.

Only the 35S and the Singapore Rollei 35 work. The German model and the 35 LED are non-working props that would cost to much to repair, but they're still cool to have around.

Found this at a local thrift store without a single scratch! I bought the close up rangefinder after and the accura as well. Its a very nice and extremely well built camera!

Neat! I hope it works as nice as it looks. :)

My Robot II and Robot Star 50 have returned from being serviced now. They look and feel great now, shutter and drive working reliably through the range. Got a special Schneider 30mm f/5.6 for them too ... Curious little thing, you remove the lens mount and bolt it to the camera to use it. Made for surveillance work.

Have to do some photos...
