Shutter materials cm??

Hello there..

My name is Dimitris and i have in my hand a leica iiif bd that im trying to replace shutter curtains and ribbons.

Allready have all the materials but after a lot of readings here and there cant find anywere the cm of ribbons and curtains.

As a guide i use natcam pdf and leica service pdf.
Is there any other that im missing???

Also cant use the old one as a guide because is Allready replaced some time in the past and i cant trust them.

So if anyone want to help i want the 1st curtains and ribbons cm and 2nd curtains and ribbons cm threaded and ready for leica iiif.

Does anyone know if the blinds for the FED, Zenit and Zorki are the same size? They would seem to be a reasonably easy to obtain source.

Allready have that document printed and readed but As As i search i see differents in mesurments here and there and that why i ask here the original one.

????I ended up: ????
1st) 7.0x3.1cm (other says 7.5cm :??)
2nd) 9.7x3.1cm (some says 3.2cm :?? But if go with 3.2cm the curtain goes out from creature)???

Add about 1cm for thread. So 7.1cm and 9.8cm.

And the ribbons all 4 of the 9.3cm.

Is that ok for My iiif black dial?
Keep in mind that i completely disasemble all the creature to make a Good work - clean.

Hello again qnd sorry to bring up this thread again but after many personal problems leave that project.

So im going after 3 years to makè that shutters curtains.

Is the above mesures good?

Consider buying Aki Asahi's repair guide off ebay - it does contain measurements for the curtains.

As for the ribbons (and lord is that a difficult job) its not so much the perfect length, rather where they are glued to the big drum. Same with the first curtain. this is critical, as is then the length of the first curtain. If you dont have these things marked then im not really sure how youre going to be able to proceed.

I would be worrying more about where to glue than the dimensions at this point. And I would put a little more faith in the curtains and ribbons that came out of the camera, they're most likely accurate other wise they wouldnt be worn out - if they were changed and didnt work, they would be pristine lol.
