You know, I do my own E6 and B+W developing but I've never tried C41. I must say that I'm enthused to hear someone say C41 is easier to do than B&W! Wow! I'll have to try it then.
It really is! I like the Unicolor kit from Freestyle. There are only 3 baths, and you do the steps exactly the same each time. As I see you already do E6, you must have already solved the temperature challenge. With C-41 the temperature need not be controlled as tightly as it is for slide film, so I use a tub of warm water to hold the bottles and developing tank.
Color film (for the most part) does not use the elaborate process adjustments commonly used with B&W film to control contrast, acuity, etc. And the chemicals seem to last forever.
