I think everyone is still guessing... Their series of lenses for Nex and m43 (19, 30 and 60) could be the starting point for their own csc.. It would be great to have a foveon asked csc.. But who knows.. I think they have done pretty well w/ their dp series lately.

I'm a huge fan of this company because they dare to be different and they make cameras that you have to take time to appreciate.

A mirrorless with a decent EVF and foveon sensor technollogy would sell well but I suspect they have something different in mind.

If it's a mirrorless camera, my big question would be "What mount"? We already have 6 competing mirrorless mounts (7 if you include Leica) and I doubt another would be able to thrive in the market. Their very own SA-mount for DSLR is practically dead except for the SD1M, which now costs as much as the D600 or 6D.

The only way I could see them release a mirrorless camera is to join one of the existing systems: bet on their exotic sensor and the system's existing user base. M43 or NEX would make the most sense, but as someone Foveon-curious, I would love to see them join Fuji's X-mount, since I would buy one of those bodies as a back-up.

Not to mention the lenses. The latest lineup of their lenses for DSLRs are proving to be optically better than the OEM lenses and even the zeiss models.

I rather like the sd1m..between the fuji native lenses and speed booster setup for Nikon, my nikon dslr is collecting a lot of dust.
