If it's a mirrorless camera, my big question would be "What mount"? We already have 6 competing mirrorless mounts (7 if you include Leica) and I doubt another would be able to thrive in the market. Their very own SA-mount for DSLR is practically dead except for the SD1M, which now costs as much as the D600 or 6D.
The only way I could see them release a mirrorless camera is to join one of the existing systems: bet on their exotic sensor and the system's existing user base. M43 or NEX would make the most sense, but as someone Foveon-curious, I would love to see them join Fuji's X-mount, since I would buy one of those bodies as a back-up.
