ENjoy the trip.

Hope that you brought the Leica.

Not that I want your Digital Camera's battery to freeze or anything.

Best to have a back-up.

Enjoy your trip. I hate winter and just return from the Last Minute website with the cheap flights to Cuba :)

When you return, my sister should be waiting on your doorsteps with a nice bottle of French wine :)

Aahhh,

Skiing in the Dolomites....
Sweet!
What great Lartigue'sque opportunities!!! ;-)

Enjoy

Joerg

What to bring in the pists? I am going skiing in Bulgaria in a couple of weeks, and I think I should bring my M6 with the collapsable Industar-22 to wear under my skiing clothes. Too risky? Anyone did this? Maybe it would be more risky to leave the camera at the hotel...

Surely Jaap wil find what he's coming for....

...it's been snowing non-stop for the last 26 hours in northern Italy :D :D :D .

Wish I could hit the slopes too, but I can't complain much:
10+inches of snow around Milan ---> can't use my motorbike ---> I'm home from work :p and about to venture in a city park with one daughter and some cameras ;)

Socke, better make sure your trip is not from Frankfurt back entrance into an all inclusive camp. Or that you get losed, and we have to pay to get you back ;)
Anyway I stay here and think about spikes for my bike...

Thanks, everybody, for the nice wishes. It was great- powder snow- quiet slopes - sun and just below 0 centigrade - we must have run off all of 800 km's in 12 days.I must confess to taking a whole bunch of holiday snaps and not too many real photographs. anyway, the films haven't even been developed yet. Here I am, having a hard time of it...
