Hi all,
I tried to search information on the subject mentioned in the title before posting, but since I couldn't find anything in our forum, here goes:
Retrography was a well researched site, with lots of good information on vintage cameras (mostly German) up to the late 60s. It was run by a Danish enthusiast photographer and collector, Simon Simonsen.
The site is gone, at least since early 2011 (i.e., this was when I actually noticed it was gone).
Does anyone knows what happened to the guy (and his site)?
Thanks in advance.
Alex

I remember the site very well. I heard Mr. Simonsen suffered from heart problems and eventually passed away some years ago. I have no idea what happened to his camera collection.

Oh dear, "some years ago"?! Thanks for the sad news Mablo. Despite having heard about his heart problems, I didn't know Mr. Simonsen had died. Are you sure about that information?
