Hi guys, I have been observing this website & only now I notice this particualr forum among Malaysian & Singaporean.
It's great, let me do my intro, I from KL & having been using voigtlander lens.
Great to have rangefinders fans here, hard to find though.

Will come in more often, nice meeting u guys

Morning everyone! I have once again been looking at the B&S in CS. There's a guy who is selling a Bessa R2!
This must be a first! S$660. There seems to be no interest on CS. I know there will be interest over here.

It seems that he was trying to purchase an R2 over on CS for quite some time, gave up, bought one of Gandy's last R2's. Used it, did not like it and now he's selling.

Welcome to our little thread sthon! There are quite a few voigtlander users around. You would feel very much at home here.
 
Welcome sthon! Good to see a fellow Voigtlander user here. Do post some photos that you took with your Voigtlander. By the way Glenn, why don't you buy that R2? It is a very good price for a minty looking camera! :)

I would love to Peter. But i don't have S$660 lying around for me to afford that right now. :(

Glenn, the R2a is a much better buy as it's only a tad more. Ae mode, better build quality, a decent film rewind lever, VF less prone to flare etc... If mine is still availble then, call me in 3 months and we can work something out.

Aww.... you're not one of the suspects. This particular seller just likes to deal locally and i know you're not in singapore for the time being. You're safe! :D

I live in KL as well, and wanting to join the little meet-up they are having!!

Haha, if I can't make it... perhaps we can have our own meet-up here in KL! :D

Suzie, yes we could meet in KL or somewhere in the Klang valley.

I don't know if durians and expensive cameras/negatives in an enclosed space will work out. Think we'd give the thorny fruit a miss this time. Would be nice to do a photo documentary on the fruit though, maybe go out shooting at one of the evening durian spots in Geylang.
