Welcome sthon! Good to see a fellow Voigtlander user here. Do post some photos that you took with your Voigtlander. By the way Glenn, why don't you buy that R2? It is a very good price for a minty looking camera! :)

Hi peter & guys, posted some pics taken with voigtlander lens. feel free to pay a visit, thks :p

Outstanding travel photography and you are really good with super wide! My personal favourite if the Fisherman of Vung Tao! I see you were in Saigon too! By the way, when the Singapore members here have interest in hair dressing? :p Terence, is this coming Saturday still on?

Think of a program, I got Glenn working on that too. :)

As many of us would have noticed, it has been raining intermittently for the past few days. I spotted a rainbow around the vicinity of my home and had decided to take a photo of it.

Here's the interesting part: I was walking down a slope with an umbrella in one hand and digital Canon A70 in the other (the Yashica still has B&W film in it lah) when i slipped on a metal grate and fell backwards. Scraped one elbow, bruised the other and the camera went flying and landed on my forehead above my eye when i landed. After whacking my head, it landed on the pavement beside me. I now have a 1.5cm bump to show for it. I admit it must have been quite a comical sight to anyone who must have been looking. :D

So there i was, wet, bruised, bump on head, umbrella perched on one shoulder and even more determined to get my shot. And here it is.

If i was carrying the Yashica, i would likely have an indentation instead of a bump! :p

I'm real glad you weren't carrying the 5000. It would have put more than a dent in your noggin! :)

Good come back from a fall.

Imagine the headlines! Guy gets knocked out cold from his own camera! The perils of owning a metal camera. :p I'm glad i was able to get back up too, G'man!

Glenn, that sounds painful, hope you're feeling better. Better come on Sat, you'd have a nurse and doctor to check you out.

I'll be there. I'm looking forward to it with my bump and bruises! :p I'll let you know of any ideas i have for the gathering.

I have to admit. I would have loved to caught it on film.:)
Could have photoshopped in some little stars.

Not there at the decisive moment? We'll have to rely on the joys of imagination then. :D

Happy to see you are okay. You managed to get a beautiful shot!

Isn't it true that artists must suffer for their art? :)

Thanks for the concern and for the comment. :) I'm definately no artist but there was some suffering going on there. :p

Hah! More like the pot o' gold at the end of it!!

Then we could get more gear!:)

Errr Terence... unfortunately, the Doctor is a psychiatrist and the nurse deals with people over 75!

Good luck....

So this means that i would need to be 75 and over with emotional, mental or socialogical imbalances to be treated. If iwas 75 and over and i had a camera whack me in the head, i would probably need a surgeon and a lawyer to verify my will. :p

Well, he did have a pretty big bump on the head which might have set a few screws loose and he'd probably be moving like a 75 yr old right after that. Nothing like a good CLA to get him back on his feet.

Too make matters worse!
The psychiatrist is doing Child Psychiatry
The nurse is doing geriatrics
The patient is in his 30s

This is crazy you guys are going to have so much fun!

The people walking past me did look at me as though i had a few screws loose taking pictures while it was raining slightly. You got that part right! I guess the bump would take a few days to go away.
