Glenn, that is a good shot and you could PS it to bring out the rainbow even more strongly! :p I almost fell into the swamp when I was shooting at Sungei Buloh. I stood too close to the edge to catch a swimming Monitor Lizard (that photo is in my Sungei Buloh gallery). I must say that you are fortunate that you did not bang your head with a metal camera or else there will be a law prohibiting the usage of metal cameras for the sake of public safety! Imagine a law that allows the usage of metal cameras only in a National Metal Camera Shooting Centre? You have to lock your metal cameras in the armoury before going home? Walking around with a metal camera will get a mandatory death sentence and canning? 1984 coming to real life!!! :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:

I might be able to lay my hands on a LCD projector if anyone would like to share their digital scans. Please let me know in advance and I will make arrangements, by tomorrow if possible.

I will also be setting up my table top studio if anyone wants centerfolds of their beloved cameras. My background has not arrived yet so I won't be able to do owner/camera portraits just yet, sorry Peter.

Am open to other suggestions what you guys might want to do. Glenn, our supposed program coordinator suggested classical music in the background. Way to go Glenn, I knew I could count on you! Now why didn't I think of that? Now, which one of my 2 classical CDs should I choose from? :p

Do bring your cams, lenses, prints, slides, everything else along! Look forward to an afternoon of RF chit chat and good company.

Terence's Equipment Emporium will be extending their hours that day too, so bring your cheque books along :) There might even be a sale!

I've more or less figured out where is Terence's residence. We could all meet at Eunos MRT control station at 2.30pm.

As far as i understand, Terence's wife is a little particular about food being brought over. So let's take that into consideration. But Terence has graciously offered to prepare some refreshments for us. :)

That sounds good. I looked at the Street Directory website and it seems quite easy to get to your place. Bus 155 or something.

2 30 shouldn't be a problem. :)
 
The Singapore Street Directory website does not show the exact location. It's not really correct either. Shows the wrong building.

You're right Justin, 155 does reach there from Eunos MRT. Ditto for 15.

155 would be from the bus stop in front of the station, along Sims Ave. 15 would be at the side of the station, along Jalan Eunos. To take 15, one would have to cross the road at the side of the station and board the bus in front of Kwan-In Welfare Free Clinic.

Both would just require a trip of 2 stops. Stopping on the second stop at East Shore Hospital.

This would be useful to any who wish to go there directly or any who might be late.

Sounds very exciting indeed! And I got the rare clearance from my wife.

I remember my mom warning me about meeting internet strangers with my cams.......
 
So we all meet at 1430hrs at Eunos MRT? I was attached to Eastshore hospital long ago for my paediatrics posting.

Why don't you guys meet at the bottom of the steps leading to the big carpark. Think some of you have met before. I've got everyone's contacts. I'll send Glenn some numbers so he can round you guys up.

So far no one has indicated that they'd be sharing any digital scans so I'll not be getting the LCD projector.

Wai Yong is unable to make it this Sat. Rest of us have all confirmed.

Actually we could discuss on our work by using your computer. Quite a few of my shots are online anyway. What about others? You all could bring along a CD or thumb drive?

My 1D died suddenly during a shoot yesterday. I was going to use that to shoot tomorrow's porn but it may not be possible without my workhorse around. It's with Canon at the moment, 2 days before the warranty runs out.

Was going to use a backup 1D but it might be sold just before the gathering tomorrow. Just a heads up for you guys, be prepared to be disappointed, sorry :(
