size of Canon RF 28/3.5 lens cap.

Hi,

I just got a Canon 28/3.5 LTM lens. I need a front lens cap. Anyone knows what size it should be?

Threaded cap would be 34mm, slip-on cap is 36mm inside diameter.

The Leica A36 caps work fine, easier to find than the Canon ones.

The 34mm screw and 36mm slip-on caps that John mentioned earlier are for the chrome lenses. The vast majority of Canon RF 28/3.5 lenses were chome, so that is probably what you have. If your lens is the late-model black-barreled one, however, it has a 40mm filter ring and takes a 42mm slip-on cap. A 40.5mm clip-on cap would work fine.
