All Voigtlander SL Lenses for SLRs have been discontinued.
The factory sold out of most lenses and mounts.
the only good news is one more run of 90, 125, and 180 Pentax KA mount lenses
I still have Voigtlander SL 40/2 lenses in Nikon and M42 mount in stock.

I wish they'd have another run of the 75/2.5.

Quo vadis?
Quo vadis?
If I count correctly the Bessa M/L39 is the last film camera system Cosina is doing (the Nikon Contax range discontinued some time ago and now the SL). Appart from the Bessa, the Zeiss Ikon and the Leica rangers there is nothing much else left. Nikon claims to be still doing F6, but are they really or are they just selling of a last final production batch? Might be that despite being older than the SLR, the rangers outlive the SLR as well
Anything I have overlooked

Oh well another bastion of good old MF lenses gone. Any clues on how long they can/want to keep the Bessa M/L39 range? If so are you willing to share those?CameraQuest said:All Voigtlander SL Lenses for SLRs have been discontinued.

I had heard something (on APUG, I think) to the effect that the Zeiss Ikon SLR lenses were being made in Pentax K mount as well as in Nikon AIS. Anybody know anything about this?
I have no idea whether Nikon is still making any manual focus Nikkors.
I can highly recommend the 40/2 SL for Nikon users. (I was fortunate enough to get it in Canon FD mount as well.)

Interesting what lenses they producec in OM mount. I should dig on cameraquest.com...
Yes there are a couple of the new Zeiss lenses in the pentax mount. They started with a 50mm and just added two wide angles.

As far as I know, they are releasing some/all (?) in M42. They will be called ZS (screw or schraube (german)) as opposed to ZM (Leica M) or ZF (Nikon F). Pentax K would be real news.

Good to know someone is still in business here. Though I think they should have kept the FM alive. On the other hand used shops here are full of FM/FE/FA, have your pick.NIKON KIU said:Less than a month ago members of NHS visited the Sendai-nikon factory and sure enough they saw F6's being produced...
Don't count Nikon out yet!
F6x anyone?
