Slideshow function for the gallery?

I wonder if a slideshow function could be added to the gallery so you could see full-size images within the 1/ 7/ 14 day periods. I tend to go quickly thru the 1 day tiny thumbnails every day and miss a lot of wonderful detail. Right now it's a laborious process to see full-size images one-after-another.

i use flickr...it's so much easier.

as to a slide show function here...i doubt that it will happen...anything to do with images seems to slow the software down too much.
but then, i'm no computer guy.
