I have actually hammered nails with an F3 (just to see if the rumors were true), and dropped from a horse onto pavement, i gave it to my best friend so he could learn photography. I would place my life in the F3 as it has placed it's lide in my hands.

My daughter would not forgive me for doing that to her OM1. Nope!

Probably because the OM1 is too delicate and would break in the process, otherwise she'd have nothing to be afraid of.

I'm with Pickett: I've used both the F-1 and F3 extensively, and while the F3 is the proverbial Tough Mother, a literal smackdown with the F-1 might scramble its more electronically-embellished mind.

Well when it comes to hitting things, mechanics are more easily scrambled than electronics. They don't call it solid state for nothing.

My bet is on the F3.
