Leica LTM SLR lenses on Leica ?

I was looking at my Rokkor lenses , and it occured to me that with an adapter with a suitable extension , they might fit on a Leica - has anyone heard of such an adapter ?

Don't think they exist commercially, but should be a simple enough job for an engineer to do (uncoupled) in their lunchtime for a few quid.

I'm sure someone on this forum posted a pic of a Leica with a BIG Nikkor attached in such a manner ?

it seems that Leica actually made a Minolta adapter - Leitz Ring 22233 .. I missed two on e-bay from November this year . Could be interesting scale focusing a zoom !
Camerquest still have Nikon adapters ... which might just shapwe my choice of budget DSLR .

I have a Canon FD adapter to LTM and a Minolta adapter to LTM. I need a Minolta wide angle lens.
