small bag for finder

leather sounds nice 🙂

but i never use cases, too much hassle, i prefer to just reach into my bag and grab a lens.
a case for the finder is needed to keep it from scratching anything when being jostled.

A real leather worker will have a small purse/drawstring bag selection, and trolling again you avtar seems to be of male jewelry?

While we are doing hoods why did you not get the wide angle CV hood?

One of the little neoprene pouches that come with Sandisk CF cards would work perfectly. They even have a little key ring on them so you could attach the pouch if you wanted to. I have a couple of extra ones. If you want one, I'll throw it in the mail to you. Let me know.

How about a "stash" bag from the local head shop? 😎

Not that I know about such things...

Actually, I use a microfibre cinch bag that I had left over from a long lost pair of sunglasses. Has the advantage of doubling as a cleaning cloth. (For the viewfinder only.)

I use the little leather cases that hold a 35mm film - they are an accessory made to go on camera straps. they close w/ zipper. Useless for their intended purpose as I hate stuff like that cluttering up the strap. Recieved as a gift from a non-photographer friend but they are perfect for finders if you can locate one in some camera shop.

I might have one of those zipper film can things for the strap- let me look around this weekend- there were two or three of them on some old camera strap around here.

Hey, I just use old socks. A baby's sock/bootie would be the perfect size for a finder.
