Small-ish drawstring bags for little $

i use cheap squeeze coin purses for stuff like batteries, earplug headphones etc.

Good idea, joe!
The bags--pouches really--I linked to are sized nicely for rf lenses. I don't really use a camera bag for much else but storage and a few of these would work, I think, for separating the lenses in the larger bag.

Since the pouches are not being marketed as photo gear, they don't have the typical price that such a thing might.

And they will, hopefully, be better than what I am currently using. I bought a package of "toddler sized" socks from one of our local dollar stores...

Leather pouches often have issues with mold.

I use lightly padded stretch-mesh pouches from Muji. The small one fits a 28mm f/2.8 Elmarit-M ASPH, the middle one a 50mm Summilux and the large one a 90mm Apo-Summicron ASPH.

I wanted a replacement OEM velvet pouch for my Voigtlander 28mm VF. Tiny little thing, costs maybe pennies to make. When I enquired how much, I was told about $10.
On ebay I bought 50 velvet pouches for that price. I used two, gave the rest to a friend that makes jewelry.

Crown Royal pouches and you get to enjoy the contents.

At the last restaurant job I had, there had been so much acrimony over who got the bags that the owner had to make a policy about it. I can't recall for certain but I think it was that the customer who emptied the bottle got the bag from the new one.
The contents, to me, are meh. Not my preferred whisky.

As well, the bags seemed to big for most of my LTM lenses.

Muji does some interesting "stuff". I have a couple of their fountain pens that are pretty decent. Not the most durable pens, maybe, but good for the price, I think.

I actually have that set you linked to in my Amazon wish list. Should have bought them instead: they are showing as not currently available. :(

I don't drink the hard stuff but those snazzy little pouches are a real bargain.
Thanks for the link, Rob. :)

I'm pretty sure the minatures come in small bags about the right size. I'd imagine they're sold everywhere. In the liquor stores here they're at the counter when you checkout. What size are the mnatures, a jigger or two.
