He is an awesome cat

Sneaky was NOT pleased with his food, which had sat out for a whole 45 minutes and was therefore stale and fit only for dogs or humans to eat. I had to add steak to it to get him to eat it!
He got mad again as he was eating because I put the monthly flea treatment on the back of his neck while he was hunched over his food. He ran down to the basement as soon as I put it on him, then came back up and ate the rest of the food. After he ate, he came into the living room and tried to steal the house key my son had left on his computer desk. Sneaky has figured out what keys are for and if I won't let him out, he tries to steal keys and carries them to the door! Fortunately, he does not have the ability to stick the key in the lock and turn it. Yet!

Good thing I don't have any money, or my house would be full of cat food ordered online!

Look how LONG he is! Sneaky stretches out like this to sleep all the time. The housefly and its baby maggot wish the cat would stop sleeping on their dinner!
Early this morning, while it was still dark out, Sneaky came inside and demanded food. I gave him a can of Fancy Feast, and he looked at it like it was a plate of "fly food."
I had to sprinkle some leftover steak on the cat food to get the cat to eat it! As soon as he ate, he wanted back outside. I left to buy some donuts and when I came home 20 minutes later, I saw Sneaky in my front yard, spraying a tree! He came back inside and demanded MORE food, which I refused to give because it had been less than a half hour since he ate. He finally gave up and went to sleep on the sofa, where he has spent the entire day!

Yes, he owns the sofa, the house, my Cadillac (he sprays its wheels!), and he even thinks he owns my son and I. Cats haven't gotten the message that SLAVERY is wrong!

Chris, I think we can consider it a truism that you don't own a cat; a cat owns you!
(And they don't care what you call it.)

I actually think that Sneaky is quite happy with the term "Slavery."

Another lazy night for Sneaky! Yesterday was a nice day, he spent most of it outside. Must have worn him out, because he's still sleeping on the sofa now at 4pm!

Early this morning, I go into my kitchen and find Sneaky on his "Feed Me" stool, looking annoyed that I had noticed him sooner. He got even more annoyed when I took his picture instead of immediately feeding him.
This stool is his; he jumps on it when he wants food, so we call it his "Feed Me" stool!

"Humans servants are useful, but they require constant feline supervision."
Last night, I went to the basement to do some laundry. Sneaky was fast asleep in the living room. After I loaded the washer, I found him sitting, meatloaf-style, at the top of the stairs watching me with an annoyed look on his face.
After I went upstairs, Sneaky decided that he wanted outside. It was raining, but he ran out anyway! He stayed outside for a couple hours, and was soaked when he returned. We had a conversation about that:
Me: You look like a drowned rat!
Sneaky: Reow!
Me: You're wet!
Sneaky: Loud trill, plus bitchy meow.
Me: REALLY wet!
Sneaky: LONG loud trill and bitchy meow!
He ran to his "Feed Me" stool in the kitchen and stood there while I dried him off with paper towels, which made him purr.

Lately, Sneaky has been wanting to sleep on the chair my son sits on at his computer desk. When my son tries to make him move, he refuses and has to be picked up and removed.
Last night, Mack went to sit down and Sneaky jumped on the chair behind him to keep him from sitting all the way back in the chair! He stayed like that for an hour, and after Mack got up, Sneaky moved to my bedroom and went to sleep on my bed.

Early this morning, Sneaky did something that he rarely does. He went inside the little 'house' on his cat tree and slept there for several hours. I was worried about him because he's been sick for several days, and behavior changes aren't a good sign in sick animals.
I took him to the vet Monday and he is improving. He had been refusing to eat and not wanting to go outside or do anything, but he is starting to return to his normal routine after a couple days of medication. The vet said he had hairballs stuck in his intestines and was in pain from that.

One of my cats was a longhair - actually, of all my cats, I’ve only had one longhair. A different experience, as he would cough up the largest longest hairballs I’d ever seen. It was a traumatic experience for both of us when that happened.
My first “solution” was to have the vet give him a “lion trim”. It looks a bit silly at first, but looks way better after a few weeks. However, even though that solution worked, it was too expensive to do on a regular basis and the cat also had to be sedated.
Second solution was a special diet. That actually worked. No more hacking up hairballs and no consequent medical issues.

My cat would murder me in my sleep if I gave him a lion haircut, lol. Of course, I'd laugh at him and call it a "Poodle" haircut, so I'd probably deserve it
What's the diet you're giving your kitty?

It’s IAMS - the Hairball Control mixture. It’s a dry food, so maybe Sneaky wouldn’t like it. But maybe your vet could suggest something moist.

Sneaky likes this chair, but was dismayed to find that today it was occupied
by one of my camera bags. No problem; he climbed right up! The bag is too small for a big cat like him, so he had to shift himself around a bit to find comfort, but he finally fell asleep. Hopefully his stupid human servant will find a better place for that camera bag.

I've not been feeling well the last couple weeks, so I haven't posted any updates on Sneaky lately. I made this photo of him last night; he was on the back of the sofa trying to get me to let him back outside. (check out THAT TAIL!)
He's been bitchy lately because I ran out of steak a few days ago. I keep a bag of leftover steak in the fridge because half the time he refuses to eat his cat food unless I add some steak to the food. He'll sit and stare at the food with utter contempt in his eyes for the slop I've given him, and recently he has been walking to the fridge and staring at it if looking at the food contemptuously does not work.
He just came in to eat, and is sitting on my lap now, trying to murder my computer mouse!
