Sneaky (cat!)

Sneaky was annoyed last night because I wouldn't let him outside in the middle of the night during a thunderstorm. He was laying on my shoes glaring at me!

I was trying to read tonight when Sneaky jumped on the sofa, walked across me, then plopped down across my book! I grabbed my tablet to make this video and he slid down to one side and cuddled up.



He got steak for dinner right after this!

Last night, I posted a video of Sneaky cuddling up to me when I was reading on the sofa. Here are some photos my son took of Sneaky and I before I made the video. He started out right on top of me so I could not read at all, but had moved down next to me before I was able to make the video.

I finally got a photo of Sneaky sleeping with his tongue out a few minutes ago! He does this a lot, but always pulls in the tongue when I get out a camera.
 
That is just too cute!

Once, when my cat did that, I was able to quickly touch his tongue between my thumb and index finger - a totally surprised cat!

Sneaky was being really cuddly last night. Of course, I was trying to play a

game on my tablet and that was likely a big motivation for outpouring of love, lol. He cuddled up to me and eventually curled his body around my right arm.
 
Steak and chicken, hmm? I've always said that I'll come back as a cat in my next life. Now I know whose doorstep I'll turn up on!

Sneaky eats well, that's for sure.


Last year, I posted a photo of him eating filet mignon on one of the cat groups on Facebook. A young woman commented: "Oh my God, Filet Mignon? Are you f--king kidding me? If I put on cat ears and a tail, will you give ME some?"


The steak and chicken we give Sneaky are leftovers from what my son and I eat, but the butcher shop we go to told me that they have customers who buy this stuff every day just to give their dogs and cats. That's crazy; but if I were wealthy, I have to admit, I'd probably do that for Sneaky!
 
Chris, we already knew what a skilled photographer you were, and generous with your knowledge. What Sneaky revealed is what an old softie you are! :p

Sneaky was so sad yesterday because I wouldn't let him back outside five minutes after he came in and ate lunch. That, and I had just gone to the bathroom and locked him out so he couldn't watch!

"This food is NOT acceptable!"




Sneaky was not happy that his food contained no steak, so he sat on the counter and gave me nasty looks. I had to add some before he would eat.

Sneaky, enjoying a little early morning bird watching from his favorite spot under the bushes along my driveway.



No birds were harmed; Sneaky is much too lazy to actually try to kill one! He stopped hunting a year ago; once he felt that he had fully enslaved the humans here, there was no reason to work to impress them anymore.
