Had 🥩🥩 for dinner again. Sneaky stood on his back legs and was staring at mine, so I cut some up for him and gave him a big pile of it in his food bowl, which he ate. By the time he was done, my son had finished his meal and gotten up from the table, so Sneaky jumped on his chair and ate part of a baked potato and some more steak my son had left! Oink! 🐷
Old photo for illustration purposes; I didn't have my camera ready tonight.

Lately, when Sneaky wants something and I am working at my computer, he will jump on my lap and start purring loudly and rubbing all over me while I pet him. He'll give me a few minutes of this intensive cuddling, before he starts attacking my mouse or laying across the mouse and keyboard. My son took a picture of him sitting on my lap, which Sneaky wasn't happy about. I then got up and gave Sneaky what he wanted, which was a Delectables squeeze-up treat.

Apparently, you are well trained.Sneaky just left a dead mouse on the doorstep! First one since March. He's been lazy this year. Of course, he didn't eat it. He left it for me; then came in to demand food!

Enjoy your mouse. Myself, I like a chili cheese mouse on a toasted hot dog roll. YMMV.

He always demands food after killing something. The lone exception being the bunny he killed last month. All he left on the doorstep was one of the rabbit's back legs. I never found the rest of it, and Sneaky had NO interest in food when he came inside. I think he ate it

Actually the greedy SOB just left me the skinny, bony lower half of the leg. He kept the meaty part for himself

At 8am, I fed Sneaky, gave him treats, and then let him go outside. I then left to run an errand and was gone a half hour. My son woke up while I was gone and let Sneaky back in. The cat cried STARVATION and scammed my son out of another can of cat food! When I got home, he was just finishing off the new can.
I said "Did you scam Mack out of another can of food?" Mack asked if I had fed him recently, and I said "Yes, a half hour ago!" Sneaky let out a loud BITCHY meow, and continued complaining as my son and I talked about what a manipulative scammer Sneaky is. He then tried to demand more cat treats!

A few nights ago, I fell asleep on the sofa and Sneaky cuddled up to me. My son found us like this and snapped some photos with his phone.
Sneaky's been a lot more cuddly with me than usual the last few days. Last night, I was sitting on the sofa reading and he laid on me for a couple hours, purring loudly much of the time.

Chris, I think Sneaky has added almost as much to your life as you have to his!
Touching photos.

Chris, does Sneaky have a litterbox in or near the house or does he just go outside? I ask because one of our old dogs would get worms and we didn't know how. Our vet said that if the dog ate wild rabbit, there was almost a guarantee that the worms came from the bunny. Our old dog happened to love chasing rabbits, and got a few. Supposedly most wild rabbits have and transmit some kind of GI worm to their predators.
I always love the Sneaky Cat updates! Hope y'all are doing great.
Many thanks for the continuous addition of photos.

He has one in the house but he will only use it if the weather is REALLY REALLY bad outside. He prefers to poop and pee outside, and asks to go out when he needs to. I like that; cleaning a litterbox is not fun! I know about rabbits and parasites. He hasn't showed any signs, but I'll ask the vet to check him at his next visit.
I'm doing ok. I've been sick most of this year with stomach issues that my doctors are still trying to figure out, but the symptoms have gone away. I suspect I had a bad infection that took a while for my system to fight off. I haven't done a lot of photography this year because of that. I still live with my son, who has been very supportive; so life is still good. 😺

Hi Chris,
Great to come back to this thread and catch up on Life with Sneaky. Wonderful cat/master. Love your pictures as always.
Sorry to hear about your health. I hope your gut sorts itself out. It will be great when you feel well enough to get out again with your camera.
Cheers

Last night, I bought some turkey meat at the deli. This morning, when Sneaky came inside after a couple hours outside, I gave him a big pile of it. He ❤ ❤ ❤ this stuff, and his eyes lit up when he saw it. He kept pulling peices of it out of my hands when I was tearing it up for him; I thought he was going to take my hand off!
He ate a ton of it, fast; most was gone by the time I had my camera out!

Yesterday morning, Sneaky came in after a couple hours patrolling his territory. He was, of course, hungry after all that work. I gave him a can of cat food, and as usual, he rejected it. I added kitty treats, and he still looked at it with disgust. I added a second type of cat treats and he continued looking at it like it was a pile of dog 💩💩💩.
I got my camera and made a couple photos of him being displeased with the food, before adding a third type of treats, which he accepted. He ate EVERYTHING, including the food and previous treats that he had denounced as dog 💩💩💩.

Anyone who is owned by a cat will recognize that look in the first photo. Utter loathing.View attachment 4844484

And the crazy thing is that it is all an act, a manipulation tactic to extort more kitty treats; yet he looks authentically disgusted. He eats ALL the rejected food and treats after he's extracted the quantity he wants.
