Sneaky (cat!)

sneaky-hunting-license.jpg

I think that my cat is going to take up DEER HUNTING! At 3am last night, I went outside to look for Sneaky. He was sitting on top of my car, glaring at something across the street with a predatory look on his face. There was a big doe over there! She started running down the street, and Sneaky watched her until she was out of sight!

I told Sneaky that he did NOT need to start attacking deer. He gave a bitchy meow and went to the door to go inside, where he demanded food.

You need to brush up on your Cat translation. What he was really saying was, "You go kill the deer and I will eat it."

I thought I was safe getting out the ice cream, since Sneaky was asleep under my desk;but as soon as I got it out, he was there trying to lick it! I ended up giving him a plate with a scoop of it; but when I sat my bowl down on the table, he forgot his and still tried to lick mine!

I ended up having to hold my bowl in one hand so he would leave it alone and eat his own ice cream! My son shot these photos with his phone.

Hopefully did didn't get into the choco syrup ... I think it is toxic for cats ...

Just found this photo I made of my grandpa's cat, Molly, back in 1995. Molly was the most murderous cat I have ever encountered. In the nearly 20 years that she lived, Molly killed more than 9000 mice, moles, chipmunks, bunnies, and snakes; including several rattlesnakes! I once caught her standing on top of the dog's cage, reaching down through the bars to claw the dog's face up! She was kind of evil that way. She would go up to people she hated and ask for belly rubs, then shred their hands if they touched her striped belly.

She totally LOVED me, and would sit on my lap and purr the whole time I was there anytime I visited. She HATED my son's mother on first sight, and attacked her every time we visited my grandparents. I think she was trying to warn me, as the woman turned out to have serious mental problems and I ended up raising my son by myself.

Molly did get mad at me once for letting Grandpa's other cat, Mittens, sleep on my lap one days. For the next six weeks, every time I visited, Molly would sit in front of me with her back to me and refuse to look at me. I was afraid she would never forgive me, but she eventually did.

Molly died in 2010. I still miss her. <3

She was sweet if she liked you and you were loyal (meaning don't ever pet, feed, or pay any attention to the dog or the other cat. Especially the other cat). If she did not like you, you had to constantly watch your back because she would stick a knife in it.

She hated both my mother and my son's mother. My mom was convinced that Molly was 'Evil' and possibly in league with the Devil. When Molly died, my mom joked that she went to Hell. She probably did, but not because God was punishing her. She just went home to Hell to retire after her 20 year tour of duty leading the forces of darkness in Indiana. If I go to Hell when I die, I know she'll make sure I get air conditioning and plenty of icewater.

I would certainly not want you to go to hell, but if you do, it will have the finest cameras and darkroom every conceived by man, every lens you ever wanted, brand new in the wrapper Leicas with all the lenses and accessories, but no film or chemicals anywhere.

Molly will use her influence with Satan to ensure that I get a digital Leica. Its too hot down there to develop film.

Uhhm, are you aware of the effect temperature on semiconductors? Methinks you will have some .... challenges.

tl;dr The hotter it is (using Absolute Zero as a reference), the crappier a transistor behaves. We can reasonably expect that in the hundreds of trillions of degrees Kelvin we might find in Satan's quarters, that you will get pure noise in the way of digital images. But all the Leica fanbois will be there too and they will oooh and aaaaahh over The Tonez...

We had steaks for dinner tonight. As soon as my son got done eating, Sneaky was on his chair in the dining room checking out what he left on the plate. He was tired of waiting for me to finish eating! He ate some of the partly eaten baked potato my son left, but ignored the meat!

Sneaky has always liked baked potatoes for some reason. He isn't just licking off the butter, he eats the potato too. He wanted outside after eating the potato. I saved the steak to add to his cat food later.

Does Sneaky like baked pumpkin? One of our cats steals it off our plates while we’re eating!
