I'm aware of the dual mount 35mm Summaron 2.8, I have one.
I also know of the dual mount 90mm Summicron 2.0, I used to have one.
Are there any others? For example I have not seen a dual mount 50mm.
By 'dual mount' I mean lenses made during the period when both ltm and m were available (and maybe a little later). The lenses look like the M version with red dot etc but they have a dedicated adapter ring that can be unscrewed (with the removal of a grub screw) to make them ltm.
They may not want to come apart...

I have seen 8 element Summicron 35/2, that was dual mount. Also, 35/3.5 Summaron.

I remember seeing these being called ‘convertible’ lenses somewhere. Can’t remember where. I wasn’t aware there is a convertible mount 90mm. That’s interesting.
The 35mm convertible Summicrons and Summarons come up for sale from time to time. I think the convertible Summaron is one of the coolest lenses Leitz made. The one with the mounting index dot on the removable mount.

The red index dot on mine is on the lens, the adapter flange is too narrow to take it.

A very small number of the 90/2 Summicrons did not have the red dot, though they did come with an M-mount. This was during that transition period you refer to, and the Leitz factory literally glued the M-mount onto the lens. Usually they were only removable by applying heat to them, but the glue on mine dried out to the point where it could be unscrewed without a lot of effort.

They seemed to happen around the 158xxxx serial number range. Code name SOOZI, and they had the separate lens hood. Apparently only 490 of them were made.

I had a 50mm Summarit with an adapter that I couldn't get off. Sherry Krauter couldn't get it off, either, and she thought it might have been glued on at the factory!

Interesting, the 90mm Summicrons have a glued on normal adapter (Vince's and mine had) but the 2.8 Summaron has a different beast altogether which I assume is specific to the lens.

Yes, I have removed the grubscrew, but it even with a bit of force it was stuck.
The lens is long overdue a cla, so I'll request fixing the mount as part of it

Super Angulon 21mm F4 is dual mount with a grub screw. Great way to get a screw mount super angulon.
