This one's for daniel~. The other day, during a GAS attack which resulted in three cameras heading towards me, I purchased a gorgeous red Konica C35EF3. I'm putting a roll of Superia through it now, and when that's been processed I'll put up some shots, but for now, here she is.
Oh, and if anybody knows anywhere to get information (i.e. manual and serial number dating) online, if you could let me know.

Hey Tom, thanks for the update and, congratulations on winning this cutie in red! I can see that it's still in excellent condition--it shines like a star!
Did your camera come with any accessory? I leave my EF3's original red strap intact in the box, because it's virtually new. It's remarkable that Konica not only made these EF3 in bold colours, but even provided straps and pouches that match the specific body colours.

Mine came as just the camera, the seller put it in a third party case. Still, there's more fish in the sea.

Tom, from pic I can not judge if your EF3 has lens cap. Does it ?
I didn't pay attention to this and ended up winning also POP with lenscap, which it could lend to his red brother

you know what ? I bid on another EF3 (as mine is worked down) and won with just couple of cents over previous bidder, who obviously knows how rare EF3 come on. So let's see until it arrives

Good stuff. These are cracking little cameras, I'm about to carry it around with a roll in it, a visual diary kinda thing.
Oh, and do you still have that lens cap?

This has been posted before, but this thread is just the place for it.
... for Daniel, Tom, and other EF3 fans out there ...
The red one is obviously my wife's favorite, she got quite a bit of attention when she pulled it out of her purse while everyone else uses their digital P&S.

on pic it's with cap and wriststrap ! my first one came without cap, strap and working meter - I were too new to ebay and too excited then :bang:sweathog said:Oh, and do you still have that lens cap?

btgc: that be a red Ricoh tabletop foldable-tripod. All metal, cute as heck. Got it $5 at the local camera show recently, the seller just want to wrap things up and I was wondering why anyone hadn't snatch it up.

yes, it looks as cute as EF3. Would be nice to see some more pics of it, as blue camera obscures it.

Are you saying the blue "EF3" is not cute?

I didn't say "as cute as red EF3"
I just realized that red and yellow have "WOW!!!" effect, though on street black, blue and maybe lavender aren't so eye catching, if one wants to take candid shots.

Red is the way to go.
I'm halfway through putting another roll through my red one, so as long as the weather holds up reasonably some more shots will be forthcoming.

Today received my new red FE3...what to say....compared to previous, it's....mint !
And what important - it works, to say, meter reacts to light and shutter fires. Now I see that previous were hardly abused - now I know that ISO ring should rotate without noticeable effort.
OK, light seals are sticky but this is usual. Btw some POP have light seals from material which don't go goo - one of mine has, another don't.
And yes, need weather to put roll through it - sweathog, I'll check your pics

It seems to me that every time I go to put a test rollt hrough something (this time a Vivitar 35EE) the weather goes bad.
The camera gods do not smile upon me.

That Vivitar should cope with bad weather from low light aspect, if only sunshine isn't what you are going to photograph.

Congrat's again, both of you!
btgc, now that you got a mint EF3, you see how stunning a plastic camera can be.

thanks daniel, now I feel that I got right EF3 and how it should feel'n'work
Btw I already have adoration of plastic cameras, like XA series (I'm with XA2), mju f2.8, Canon MC and lately - Ricoh FF-70. I even got Ricoh FF-3 for friends who want return to film P&S - slower lens, but should be as good as that on FF-70 - and I absolutely love Ricoh's techie design.
