Thanks Tom. I was "adjusting" the scale that you really use to set the RF to the lens. My concept was solid but the application was off 
I just tonight used my OM2 with an 80mm zoom to look down the lens and verify infinity..it was dead on.
If the weather is nice tomorrow I will attatck this once again.
At this point it is a quest!
