Thanks for all the advice. This is very subjective as I expected but it is a good starting point before I look into this further.
This is just a thought. I think I'll start with a one lens setup to see if I like the Nikon body before jumping heavily into the system.
Trying to keep all off my options open doesn't seem to benefit me much, as ChrisLivsey had mentioned. If I get an F2 with a suite of non ai lenses, but wanted AF down the road, then I would have to buy another body and set of Af lenses. Likewise, some AF lenses would not work properly on my F2 (like G lenses).
I'm thinking of a 28mm, 50mm/58mm, and 105mm at the moment.... definitely not the 58mm f1.2 though.
