I also use Abrahamsson's. I use the mini on my x-e1.
There is a tiny gap even after you screw it all the way in, so put a tiny o-ring or washer in between.

Warning be careful with soft releases. Once when shooting in a crowd, the gap between the soft release and the base of the shutter button got caught on my pants pocket. Bumb! Camera become inoperable. Had to get the shutter fixed as something pulled out of line in the body. Granted it was a Leica M but I suppose it could happen to any camera. I still use Tom's soft releases and I love them, but I am more careful now. My two cents.I also use Abrahamsson's. I use the mini on my x-e1.

speaking of soft releases...does anyone else find the shutter release on the x cameras a bit rough...not a smooth press at all.

I use a Cam-in brand black from -bay on all three X's. X Pro, X-E1, and X10. I like the small one - CAM9009. Fits well.

I've had an X-Pro1 and now have an X-E1. Great shutter releases in both cases. No roughness on either one. My M6 was not nearly as good... until Sherry dealt with it.
