6. Zeiss 15 + elmarit 24
7. Zeiss 15 + 28 cron
8. Zeiss 15 + 35 lux

i had a zeiss 25 though and didnt like it so need to stay away from the biogons

i have noctilux & 75 lux and 12mm already so dont need any 50's or 75's
need 3 lenses to cover 16-35 range

Well, not all that 'proper' British Pounds anymore. They have just fallen with about 11 - 12% to the Euro recently. That's the price of a Voigtländer 15 m 4,5 Asph.

but the 35 lux is so exepnsive and i dont use 35 that much
use it more on the M7 to be honest


Zeiss is the enemy as well.... best to avoid zeiss at all costs but i feel like I shoudl give the 18mm a punt seeing as its not a nasty Biogon

As you don't use 35 very much I'd consider the new Voigtlander 35mm f/1.4. Way cheaper than the 'lux and faster/cheaper than the equivalent Biogon (which is built in the same factory).
Alternatively pick up one of the Voigtlander 40mm that no doubt will be plentiful if people see the new 35 as a "better" option.

no.8 appeals to me for what focal lengths you indicate. not sure what types of shooting you do though. also you might look at the m-mount grp on flickr for samples of the zm 21/4,5....a very compact performer.

Do these various lens combinations really cost 3,000 pounds? I would not have thought they'd cost much over $2,000.
