Sold?

So, when an ad in the classifieds has expired, it's automatically marked as SOLD? That's pretty lame. I lost a potential buyer because of this. If the ad expires, it should just go into a hidden state, not marked as SOLD. I also didn't seem to get an email warning that it was about to expire, not that I could have done anything about it because I was out of town.

Also a bit annoyed that when an ad is relisted, it's not bumped out to the top of the stack, so the only way I could show that it was relisted, would really to create a bran new ad, that means getting the text right and up-loading the images again.

On this note, is there a way to search classifieds without seeing Sold items? It's just frustrating to see items I want, but are sold--or at least said to be sold.
