Tree needs to not be there. I think this is a bit too sneaky, has a surveillance vibe that's a bit overpowering. Edits look fine to me!

I'm with Ranchu and filmfan, I can't see the point in the tree. Maybe if there was something clearly interesting going on behind the tree that the figure was reacting to it would add to the narrative of the image, making it intriguing and mysterious. But its just a tree
