Some images from my new Vito II

Your subjects and photographs are great for showing off how sharp the Color Skopars are, with a smooth rendition and saturated colors. They are why I have a Vito B, a Vitomatic I, and a Perkeo II.

Some people think that compact 35mm cameras were invented in the 1970'ies.

It's nice to see a set of ATX images. I'm sure you know that the Vito II is at least 60 years old. I don't know what film you were using , but the 50/3.5 Skopar seems to hold its own.

Best Regards,

Nice - thanks for posting. You've convinced me to put a roll of Portra through my one of my Vitos (Vitomatic 1a, Vito BL). So far I've only used them for bw. They are very nice, tactile cameras.

I shot my last roll of Kodachrome in my Vito II. I then lost it at the bottom of my bag and it remains unprocessed.

I have a Perkeo I also, but it has a Vaskar 4.5.

I just got it repaired and I hope to show some images from it soon.

I forgot about the Color Skopar 2.8 on my Vitessa L.

I too like the Skopars, Color or not - I've got an uncoated Skopar on my Vito (which is sadly suffering from an issue with the frame counter reset at the moment), and Color Skopars on my Perkeo II and my newly-acquired Bessa II. They are lovely lenses, and the cameras are nicely built and great to use.

Oh the Vitessa L is a wonderful camera. I had one back in '72, and shot some really nice slides with it.

I have a Perkeo II with Color Skopar. A tiny wonderful 6x6 I used only with BW. I'm tempted trying also colour negatives.
