Some more Olympus news

I'd vote for Panasonic especially with the 4/3 system of cameras merging with Olympus series. That would be nice.

Fuji doesn't make sense, given they're releasing a line that's a competitor to m43, with no overlap in technology/lenses.

Fuji is also in the medical endoscope business and that's the part of Olympus they would want.

Joe

Fuji would be blind if they didn't see the potential of market growth from people who likes Olympus cameras.

The concern I have is that one of the articles I read said that Sony, etal, were interested in Olympus' endoscope division--the camera division was not mentioned.

Frankly, I'd love to see a tie-up between Olympus Camera and Leica Camera. Think it would be a good way for Leica to get into the DSLR market--if they have a light touch re Olympus, and keep the price competitive ( as Olympus products are now, relatively speaking). Also Leica would be tied up with what I think is one of he more innovative camera companies, which, as one photoblogger has said, is making some of the best digital lenses in the world.

But it's all a pipe dream, I guess....
