Some photos for a change: M6, snow, and a rally/protest

I don't post often, and when I do I try to at least post some photos. Last winter I attended dual events, a rally and a protest on the same day. At the heart of the issue is the U.S. Border Patrols authority in the Olympic Northwest in the areas of Forks, Port Angeles, Sequim and Port Townsend.

Essentially, the Border Patrol began boarding buses and requesting ID in search of illegal aliens. The community polarized and on International Womans day the two sides sought to have their voices heard. The rally in support of the US Border Patrol was in response to planned protest on this day.

Enough chatter, photos taken with an M6 and a CV 35 f/1.4 and a 'Cron 50

Ah, politics. Nice documentation - the snow really adds to the unusual look of these jj. The signs and groupings are good, but I really like the close ups of the couple - faces seem to tell the story better than slogans ever do.

I was using Arista Premium 100 and HC110 Dil. B for 5(? maybe 5 1/2) minutes

Nice stuff. The threads with pictures in them are always so much more satisfying than the gear threads.

wow. when there was a huge big bunch of 'illegal aliens' coming to that continent a few hundred years ago, they had different ways... where was the border patrol!? 😀

Great point! The Native Americans could not enforce border control and they made out OK.

My intention was to also upload photos from the protest that occurred down the street. I've been unable to upload those photos to RFF - I'm working on another method.
