Some photos from the RFF Toronto rendezvous

Nice shots everyone !! Frank, which member was wearing the Spiderman costume?

And the blonde at the patio bar, is she into Rangerfinders? 🙂 🙂

If it's any consolation, it was hot and steamy in Muskoka, but the good news, it finally rained on Sunday.

Hope we can arrange something for late September.

Cheers to all,

Bill K.

My apologies for being late with these, but it took me until yesterday to finish out the col film I started last Saturday... My B&W shots are on a film still in the Bessa so I'll have to post those later.

These four shots were taken with a Zorki 3M and the new CV 25/4 from sockeyes. It was my first time shooting with it. I was guesstimating distances and all exposures were 1/25 @ f/4 on Kodak HD 400 film. It was dim and I didn't bother taking a meter reading -- just put it to the limit of what I can normally hand hold and shot to see what might get recorded.

The notorious Frank is the bearded one 😀

Hehehe, you look like a nice group of people 😀

It's fun how EVERY RFF meeting ends with a table full of drinks, cameras and everybody testing everything ! 😀

Thanks for sharing !!

It's fun to see pictures of the people who buy my gear! How's the 25/4, Gene? I just got my 21/4 and am minutes from seeing the first results.
I really like the focal length and the click-stops on the focusing ring are great -- you don't even need to look at the lens to know what its focusing distance is. I took a lot of shots with it yesterday and am scanning the results as I type this.

Looking forward to seeing your work with the 21/4!

Some New Photos

Some New Photos

Here we go..
Bessa R3A and 40mm Nokton using Kodak B&W C41 film.

There's only one "group" shot - more as a silent observer 🙂
The rest are merely my skewed view of things 😀

Ok..
I've only got two more to put up here...
Left you out of this one Gene 🙂 maybe next time...
Shots of iggers (taken with Bill's Canon 50mm 1.4 wide open - if I recall correctly) and Frank (taken with the 40mm nokton at about 2.8 I think)..
Acros developed in Rodinal and guessing at the dev time 😀

I retract my previous comments vis a vis Frank being a vampire 😀

Cheers
