As to the op, sometimes I do photography too but I don't have a film crew follow me to document it.

Here is a similar one that I like the photos even better. In this case, a Cuban ballet dancer bought a camera and learned photography just so he could photograph his fellow dancers.

I find the dancers from the Cuban National Ballet doing their moves in unusual places around Havana to be absolutely spectacular photos.

This link has been posted here before...I remember those shots...thanks for sharing...

When I look at these photos, I have to make sure I'm actually not looking at photos on Flickr. That's what these photographs remind of.

Only just discovered Jordan Matter - was looking for something else!
Did a check to see if he was known to RFF and discovered this thread. Can't see how I missed it!

I like Matter and his enthusiasm.
I like matter for his insistance in getting the right shot - do it again, and again, and again.
The guy is making pictures not just seeing something and snapping away!
I like Matter because he has imagination.
I like Matter in the way he treats the dancers, his photo subjects.
I like Matter because he puts himself out - look at the number of photos he takes where he is lying on the ground, wet, dry or in the snow!
I was surprised that he is using a longish focal length lens - nothing taken too close up! Something to learn about there!

We need more people like Matter!
