Is the "something new" the Rodinal/Tmax combination?

I just started developing my own film, have seen a lot of examples with Rodinal that I like (dramatic contrast, nice detail). I may have to give it a try.

Yes, Rodinal is grainy developer and TMAX400 is "the most sharpnest" 400asa film so... My "first" combination is TMAX400 with ID-11..wonderfull
