Selflessly Self-involved
Here are a couple shots from a roll through Ernie today. I fixed the bellows light leak with superglue (at least I think I did, as these photo's don't have the same ghosting as before) and he's sporting the new goatskin from Jay.
Something is wrong with my development of the film I think. The centre is more developed than the edges, like one huge streak, or horizontal vignetting. It's not apparent on all the negs though.
However I could see clouding and discolouring on the neg itself however, so I think maybe I didn't agitate properly, giving uneven development and using exhausted fix.
Anyway. The photo of Kate was quite affected by the light/dark thing, and was also underexposed. I've destroyed it in gimpshop (photoshop alternative) so it appears a bit more pleasing to my own eyes, and a bit more like Kate; originally with the light behind her, skintones appear way too dark.
The other shots are a bit rubbish, just obvious test shots. I like how sharp the Spezial Aplanat lens can be. It's got nice SOFA here, I've left the scan a little less edited, so the tonal range is still apparent.
And here's another of round the back near my house... A tree I used to sit in and read, which now looks horrid from the Council attacking it with gas-powered cutting devices
This last shot shows how bad the streak/development thing is
