Take a look at this listing. One of these things doesn't belong.....can you tell which one?

Turned out that everything seems to be working fine. Very clean body inside and out, clean glass, snappy aperture, shutter speeds (including Bulb) are fine. I stuck a Radio Shack PX625 in and the meter came to life. So far, so good.
Film advance seems to be working fine as well. I'm running a test roll through it right now. I'll post up some pics once I get the film developed and scanned. Could be a steal if everything works out. Cute little camera that appears to be pretty well built.

Congrats - a great camera. Meter will be off though, unless you use a real mercury battery, or adapter.

Made in Singapore. I was hoping for Germany (my wife was born in Braunschweig).
I'll spring for an adapter at some point. I wanted to make sure it was in good shape before springing for one. When all's said and done, the adapter will probably cost more than the camera. Not that I'm complaining...

Finally at home...
The biggest difference between the German and the Singapore version is the reputation.
Meter doesn't work? No problem, I have shot fantastic shots with one whose meter did not work at all.

BTW, the "TIME" camera is cult and the Mavica also can be very interesting!
Congratulations!

That's funny.....the TIME camera actually reminds me of a beefed up Holga. It also has film in it, so I guess I'm gonna finish up the roll and see what's on it.

Reminds me of the time I passed on a $5 Mint Leica Minilux. This guy wanted to sell it to me at a garage sale but I was like...nahhhhh it has a f/3.5 lens so I probably won't shoot with it much. BIG MISTAKE.

Congrats! It looks like you got more than one beauty there! What is the one 2 up from the Rollei? Is it a Half frame something? I couldn't make out the lettering.

The best camera is one that still works!
I picked up a very clean black Rollei 35 off eBay a while ago for $50.00 because the seller thought it was broken. He didn't realise the lens had to be extended for the camera to work properly.
It was a hunch based on his description ... and luckily I was right.

It really is a nice little camera. Scale focusing isn't too hard to do and it's much quicker for me than using my RF's.
I'm going to go ahead and spring for the battery adapter though. I killed the Radio Shack battery in less than a week.

BTW, that other RF looking camera is an Olympus Quickmatic. I can't tell whether it's functional or not.
And a few more snap with the Rollei...
Sweet! I'm a recent Olympus Half-frame lover. I envie your good fortune!
Nice images from the Rollei 35!

Olympus Quickmatic uses 126 film cartridge, which gives out a square image i believe.
