Somewhere in the world, it's Red Oktober!

Next up loaded for, umm, bear.. the mighty Leica R8! I mean Zenit 212K (yep with the fancy pants Pentax K mount so I can cross pollinate lenses with my Pentax MX)

Dug out my mildly mis-firing Carl Zeiss Jena Werra 3 as I promised to photograph a friend who is currently preparing his Trabant to drive it over to the former East Germany in November. He is as mad as a box of frogs. Following the failure of the Orwo N75 bulk roll to arrive I'll have to get some from either Nik and Trick or the Photographer's Gallery.

Photographing a Trabant with a Werra, hard to get more Soviet than that. Hope he makes it.

As I recently picked up a Canon LTM 50/1.4, I decided to use it on my Zorki 4 to shoot up the remaining 7 frames on the roll.

It turns out that the 64 may not actually be broken. I'll have to fiddle around a bit but after looking at the negatives from the last roll it appears I misloaded the film so the notches were not in contact with the sprockets advancing the film.

Anyway, another from the 72 Kiev sporting my old Jupiter 8M. Well, it may not be that old but it is certainly pretty beat up. But, doesn't do too bad for $8.

Alright alright alright!

This thread is coming alive!

Just adjusted the meter on my Zenit so that it no longer overexposes by 2 stops. Ready to go..

Another one from the 64 Kiev and the Helios 103. I think I am really beginning to like this little lens.
