i have been fortunate enough to acquire two delicious prewar czj sonnars.
some initial results from the 50/2.0 below. 50/1.5 to come when film returns from the lab.
a few thoughts. the lenses are really well set-up and handle beautifully. clean, smooth, sharp. they're about as contrasty as one would expect from 1930s lenses, and they give a very pretty result. very soft bokeh. eventually, these will make their way to my leica year thread, but i felt that they were interesting enough to merit separate attention.

Love the look on the face of the girl with the eyeglasses. "Just what were you thinking, bringing me HERE?"

Very nice. I love the sonnar look and you've taken some excellent shots. What adapter are you using?

thanks.
i didn't use an adapter. it's converted to LTM, which is awfully nice.
