Test shot. I’ve a sonnar 180/2.8 I rarely use in P6 mount. I broke it out in the back garden. Using HP5 wasn’t ideal to shoot wide open because it was sunny that day. Just shows how good the Latitude is.
Anyway, I need to use this lens a little more although, it is quite unwieldy.
The Vivid Festival of Light is celebrated here at Sydney every year at this time. The Opera House is the star of the show but there are many other fascinating installations. An Artist is chosen each year to design the Opera House light show and David McDiarmid did this year. Taken with CZ Jena 50mm Sonnar f1.5 T. A little post production, mostly increasing exposure and cropping.
The Sydney Opera House is just an amazing work as shown here. Once it overcame the city's naysayers and the technical hurdles it became the Sydney icon, something known at once and beautiful. Hats off to Sydney.
You’re telling me about hot and humid… 25°C here (feels like =29°) 89% Humidity. Not normal weather for the northeast of England. Our homes are designed to keep heat in. As you can imagine. While we’re currently packing our home up to move… it’s a nightmare 🤣
It had been over 100F with Humidity close to that here. I had to bring the Rocket Blower to "defog" the front element when stepping outside.
Back down in the upper 80sF for most of this week.
