Yep!
Always liked how your 43' renders, mine shoots this well indoors, but the coating wear sometimes gets me in trouble in harsh sun outside.
I'm waiting on the word from some antique dealer who accidently found a "minty" 43' T f1.5/50 LTM and they are dickering around weither to sell it or not, I should know by this weekend.
I finally got a 1940 f2/50 T cell/hacked into a Jupiter barrel, as soon as that's arrived I shall post some photos online

I have both the Nikkor 50/2 and a Jupiter 3. I love them both.

Tim has a 1953 KMZ J-3 that is simply perfect. I believe the KMZ J-3's were made with German glass.

I have two or three J-3 LTM lenses that are excellent. I also have a Zeiss Jena 50/2.0 that in the past was made into LTM and a CZJ 5cm/1.5 adapted to LTM by Brian in a J-3 shell. The 5cm/2 may have an Elmar shell. I also have a ZK 5cm 1.5 KMZ lens in LTM. These are all Sonnar lenses.

so, what would be one of the nicer, cheaper 85 sonnars?

The 85/2 Nikkor is probably your best bet. The chrome ones are a lot cheaper than the black and chrome versions.
The Nikkor 8.5cm F2 in LTM, runs $250~$350.

The prices have gone up since the times of $250-$350 Nikon lenses.

Another would be the Tanaka Kogaku Tanar 50/2. A clone of the Nikkor 50/2. My 50/2 is sharp wide open and lives on my M3.

My new Canon 50mm/1.5 Sonnar is waiting in the customs office. I hope I can contribute to this thread when I get it in my hands.
