There is one more type of mysterious Sonnar lenses. As I know there are two known to exist with s/n: 1948510 & 1948512. I would just call it rather unique than fake.

Just to help a bit, if possible.

This lens looks really like the 1407xxx series marked "Sonnar" even if some of them are marked "Carl Zeiss Jena" on the beauty ring. But the 1407xxx series has an aluminium body and is lighter: 160g.

This particular Sonnarex has just the same six slot screw at the back, but is much heavier: more than 300g if I remember well. A luxury version of the 1407's?
