Long story short, after long trials finding a perfect lens for my Sony A7R, I ended up with a Summicron-R 50 3 cam and a great Contax Zeiss 28mm 2.8 MMJ in my bag. The first trial by fire: a week in Nova Scotia, started off with a very damp rainy and foggy Atlantic coast. The kit proved to be stunning and very resilient to raindrops. I'll be sure to print some of these big. Here are some photos.

Nice. I'm actually headed to Nova Scotia and PEI next week and currently mulling my "gear strategy." My full-spectrum converted A7R is a candidate, although the call of a film RF (ZI) is difficult to resist.

Nice pictures! by the way, is the picture in different aspect ratio to the 35mm equiv? Seems a bit square to me, unless my eye playing tricks on me...
edit: nvm, i click the pictures and went viewing it on flickr, to my eyes it seems the pictures shown in this forum is compress a little, not on flickr.
edit2: okay... it was my browser... sorry...

Another trip, this time climbed Pen Y Fan in Brecon Beacons National Park, Wales. Mostly with Contax Zeiss 28, a couple with Summicron-R
